Orange Mood: A Vibrant Digital Ad by Julia Wagner and Vlad Greben

Golden A' Design Award Winner Brings Joy and Positivity to Interior Design

Julia Wagner and Vlad Greben, a dynamic design duo, have created a digital ad that is not just visually appealing but also psychologically uplifting. Their project, Orange Mood, is a unique blend of interior design, digital art, and color psychology, designed to promote new furniture collections. The design was awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2019, a testament to its innovative approach and exceptional execution.

Orange Mood is an interior design concept for a living room that exudes joy, cheerfulness, and positivity. The dominating color of the interior is orange, chosen for its psycho-physiological effects. According to Wagner, orange is associated with energy, happiness, and joy. It helps produce endorphins, lifts mood, and fills with inner strength. The design also incorporates surrealistic elements, creating a space that would be impossible to replicate in a physical photo studio.

The design was created to promote new furniture collections for Raumbild GmbH. Wagner and Greben took into account both the new collection of furniture and accessories and the budget. The result is a digital ad that not only showcases the products but also creates a specific mood and feel for potential buyers. The visualization was used in the client's website, design blog, and social media platforms.

Creating Orange Mood was a meticulous process. After analyzing the new furniture collections, Wagner used Photoshop to create style and color combinations for selected items. The design was then brought to life using ArhiCad and Cinema 4D. The final post-production was done in Photoshop. The design was created in August 2017 in München, Germany.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was the distance in communication with the CG artist and converting the concept into 3D. In particular, the luminosity from the open door and the feel of motion of the orange fruits were challenging to replicate. However, through multiple corrections and the diligent work of the CG artist, these challenges were overcome.

The concept of Orange Mood represents a state of vitality, innovation, joy, freshness, boldness, and positivity. It inspires action, encourages out-of-the-box thinking, and instills confidence. The design is a testament to the power of color and design in influencing mood and behavior. The copyrights for the design belong to Julia Wagner.

Orange Mood is a shining example of how design can be used to create not just aesthetically pleasing spaces but also environments that positively impact the psyche. It's a testament to the creativity and innovation of Julia Wagner and Vlad Greben, and a deserving winner of the Golden A' Design Award.
